The 35th Colloquium Spectroscopicum
Internationale, CSI XXXV, will be held at Xiamen from September 23 to
27, 2007. The main sessions of the conferences will include: (1) Atomic
Spectrometry (AAS, AES, AFS, Plasma, etc.); (2) Molecular Spectrometry
(UV-VIS, IR, Raman, Chemiluminescence/Fluorescence/Phosphorescence, NMR,
etc.); (3) Mass Spectrometry; (4) Laser Spectrometry; (5) Hyphenated
Techniques (with μ-TAS, HPLC, CE,
etc.); (6) X-Ray and Synchrotron Spectroscopy; (7) Chemometrics. In
addition, we are going to organize 6 symposia on some hot topics,
including (1) Elemental Speciation, (2) Environmental Analysis, (3)
Frontier of Mass Spectrometry, (4) Spectroscopic Sensing of Bio-related
Species, (5) Spectroscopy for Nanomaterials, and (6) surface-enhanced
Spectroscopy. In parallel to the scientific sections, we will also
organize exhibition to allow the international and domestic companies
and organizations to demonstrate their new products/instruments or
services related to spectroscopy (optical and mass), peripheral
accessories and chemicals.
CSI is a one of the worldwide leading conferences in the
field of spectroscopy. It will be the first time for CSI to be held in
China and the third time in Asia ever since its first conference in
1949. The objective of the conference is to bring together
spectroscopy-related scientists on a worldwide scale to stimulate
contacts and exchange of experiences, and to accelerate and promote the
research and application of spectroscopy in China. Besides to ensure the
high scientific standard of CSI, the registration fee of the conference
has been set at a relative low rate for attracting more international
participants. To compensate the extra cost and ensure the success of the
conference, we sincerely invite you and your company to be a sponsor of
the conference meanwhile to exhibit new instruments and products.
The financial support from the sponsors will be used
to cover the following expenses:
♥ The traveling and accommodation
expense of some invited prominent scientists, including Nobel Laureates.
♥ The traveling expense of some outstanding young scientists.
♥ The support to the student participants.
♥ The publication cost of the conference’s proceedings
(including CD).
♥ The advertisement and organization of the conference.
♥ The cost of lunch, tea-break, conference souvenir and rent
of the venue.

The sponsors will have the following privileges:
♥ A free exhibition booth that can be
selected considering the amounts of supports. If more exhibition booths
are needed, please consult the organizing committee.
♥ Free registration of 4 persons for PLATINUM,
3 for GOLD, 2 for SILVER, and 1 for
BRONZE.
♥ Free oral presentation of 2 for PLATINUM and
1 for GOLD in the scientific session of the conference (20
min/each, strictly for academic exchange, without any commercial
purpose).
♥ Free Poster of 3 for PLATINUM, 2 for
GOLD, 2 for SILVER and 1 for BRONZE
(strictly for academic exchange, without any commercial purpose).
♥ Free Conference proceedings (including CD) of 5 sets for
PLATINUM, 3 for GOLD, 2 for SILVER
and 1 for BRONZE.
♥ Free colorful advertising pages in the conference
proceedings: 2 pages for the PLATINUM, 1 page for the
GOLD and SILVER, half page for the BRONZE.
♥ The name or the logo of the sponsor will be marked notably
on the circulars, program, website, proceedings and CD-ROM.
♥ CSI will issue a Certificate of Sponsorship to the sponsor.
♥ The sponsor may support some necessary articles for the
conference, e.g., reception, social activities, circulars, invitation
letters, conference announcement, notebooks, pencils, and conference
souvenirs.
♥ The Sponsor may include their advertising documents in the
conference bag.
